Lithograph seed catalog covers from the late 1800's are the inspiration behind the Cottage Lace fabric line, as well as the pattern, and have been resurrected from the Smithsonian archives and reprinted as panels. This pattern is perfect for a beginner or advanced quilter and uses the trim down method of piecing to achieve frustration free piecing. Each kit includes the fabrics from the Cottage Lace line by Kellie Beckwith for Marcus Fabrics and contains enough fabric for the tops and binding for a set of 4 placemats. Want to make the matching napkins? There is an option to add on the napkin fabric to make 4 (2 each pink and purple) double sided napkins (pattern is already included with placemats). Placemats finish to 14" x 19" and the double-sided napkins finish to 20" square. Choose finishing option A and B or finishing option C. Optional crochet thread is available for finishing option A (2 skeins is needed for 4 placemats).
