Pattern Corrections


At Tulip Cottage Quilts, my team and I pour a great deal of care into every pattern we release. Even with our best efforts, we’re human, and an occasional mistake can slip through. Below you’ll find the corrected details so you can continue creating with confidence. Thank you for your patience and kindness, and I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Liberty Island Sampler BOM - Month 5

Correct cutting instructions for Block 12, Fabric #3 Navy Star, are below. Save your leftover fabric for Month 6.

Fabric #3 Navy Star:

  • 8 - 2" x 4 1/4" rectangles for sashing
  • 4 - 2" x 8" rectangles for sashing

Liberty Island Sampler BOM - Month 7

**If you receive your navy outer border fabric in two pieces:

From the smaller 21" piece, cut 2 WOF outer border strips for the top and bottom borders.

From the larger 2 2/3 yd piece, cut 2 WOF outer border strips from one end for the top and bottom borders. Then cut the length of fabric side border pieces per the directions.
