Garlic Butter Candle

This is my promised follow up post to the Cottage Loaf and well, I’m happy to report: it was a total success!

The surprise? A roasted garlic butter candle—yes, really. I baked the Cottage Loaf to act as a warm, crusty vessel, ready to catch every golden drip of melted butter “wax.” As the candle flickered, we pulled off slices and dipped them straight into the pool of garlicky goodness.

It was cozy, clever, and just the right kind of romantic. A little midweek magic, made with flour, firelight, and a whole lot of butter, thanks to the recipe from Cabot Creamery!

Share your bake on Facebook with #thequiltedbakery — I’d love to see it.
